Mr. Charles Wilson admitted to Jefferson Place from University of Louisville Hospital after a fall where he suffered a cervical spine fracture. Mr. Wilson worked hard at therapy to regain his strength and independence. After 2 ½ weeks of rehabilitation, Mr. Wilson returned home with his daughter! Thank you for allowing Jefferson Place to care for you!
We would like to take this time to introduce our “new to you” CEO. He comes to us with over 12 years of long term care experience and brings a new excitement to resident care here at Jefferson Place. Joe has been with Signature HealthCARE for over 6 years and when he is not taking on the challenges of long term care he enjoys coaching kids in wrestling at Trinity high school where he is the assistant coach. Please join me in welcoming Joe Norris to Jefferson Place.
Jefferson Place would like to congratulate McKenna Fee for passing her CNA exam and begin promoted from Hospitality Aid to CNA! We are so proud of her and to have her on board! Congratulations McKenna!
The family of a recently discharged resident wanted to thank our staff on our short term rehab unit for being so attentive and helpful in her recovery! These days of stress in healthcare, we are so grateful for being able to serve such appreciative folks!

“We are so privileged to have Dr. Babar as our Medical Director! He is well known in our community for his compassion and knowledge on Long Term Care! Dr. Muhammad Babar, (KMDA Board Member as well as President of Compassionate Louisville, Doctors for Healthy Communities and Muslim Americans for Compassion) will be participating in grand rounds at the UofL Dept. of Family and Geriatric Medicine this Friday, February 21.
Beginning at 8 a.m., Dr. Babar will be discussing Aging and Spirituality in the Bottigheimer Auditorium at Jewish Hospital.”
